The tender concerns a contract for the supply of district heating units (type 1-5) for businesses, which can cover directly supplied district heating systems at businesses, including, for example, housing associations, cooperatives, owners' associations, municipal buildings and liberal professions. A more detailed description of the district heating units covered is provided in the requirements specification (Appendix 1). The contract covers the purchase of district heating units for Aalborg Forsyning's Varme+ scheme. The contract is offered as a single-supplier agreement, where the Client orders units for delivery as needed. The agreement is therefore not divided into sub-agreements. The contract has a scope that is logistically and practically most optimally covered with one supplier, including also to minimize own resource consumption. Finally, the task has a smaller scope and is therefore not suitable for further division.

BAT (Bornholm County Transport Company) is in the process of replacing the current fossil-fueled buses with electric buses, some of which have already been purchased. It is expected that BAT will have 20 electric buses in operation in Q2 2026. BAT and Bornholm Regional Municipality (hereinafter “BRK”) therefore want to establish a charging facility with 20 charging points for the electric buses. The actual purchase of the electric buses is not part of this tender. This tender is a re-tender and concerns the delivery, installation and commissioning of charging points for charging the electric buses, as well as the delivery and installation of lighting and the setup and installation of camera surveillance. In addition, the tender concerns all necessary electrical work between transformer stations and the Charging Points, as well as the planning and execution of all excavation work necessary for the Charging Facility, including the establishment of ditches between the bus charging points and sidewalks at the Charging Facility. Finally, the tender also concerns the operation and maintenance of the Charging Points and the software solution for a 4-year period after delivery of the facility, with the possibility of an extension of two (2) times one (1) year. The charging facility will be located on a plot of land at Industrivej 10, 3700 Rønne. The area has been prepared for the charging facility shortly before the tender, which is why existing orthophotos will not be accurate in relation to the conditions that the Supplier will encounter at the start of the project. The plot, which is currently used by BAT as a bus terminal, will continue to function as a bus terminal during the construction period, and the central bus stop, which can be seen on the orthophotos, will only be removed when the Charging Facility is completed. The driving area is gravelled, and this must continue to be the case in the finished Charging Facility. In the tender material, both the terms “Supplier” and “Contractor” are used. These terms are synonyms in this material and refer to the winning bidder and its subcontractors with whom the contract is concluded.
